التقى السيد الرئيس عبد الفتاح السيسي اليوم مع السيد يوناس جاهر ستوره، رئيس وزراء النرويج، وذلك على هامش انعقاد “الدورة الـ٢٨ لمؤتمر أطراف اتفاقية الأمم المُتحدة الإطارية لتغير المناخ” في دبي.
وصرح المتحدث الرسمي باسم رئاسة الجمهورية أن اللقاء تناول بحث سبل دفع العلاقات بين البلدين في المجالات ذات الاهتمام المشترك، خاصة التبادل التجاري والسياحة، فضلاً عن الاستفادة من الخبرات النرويجية في المشروعات المرتبطة بمجالات الطاقة النظيفة، لاسيما في ظل سوابق التعاون الناجح بين الحكومة المصرية وشركة سكاتك النرويجية في هذا الصدد، إلى جانب مناقشة سبل تعزيز التعاون الثلاثي بين مصر والنرويج في أفريقيا.
كما تم مناقشة آخر المستجدات على صعيد عدد من الملفات والقضايا الإقليمية ذات الاهتمام المشترك، خاصةً تطورات الأوضاع في قطاع غزة، لاسيما في أعقاب الزخم الإقليمي الناتج عن عقد كلٍ من قمة القاهرة للسلام والقمة العربية الإسلامية غير العادية، حيث أكد الجانبان أن المخرج الوحيد للوضع المتأزم الراهن هو العمل على إيجاد التسوية العادلة والشاملة للقضية الفلسطينية على أساس حل الدولتين، مع أهمية الضغط في الوقت الحالي نحو تحقيق وقف إطلاق النار في ظل التبعات الإنسانية الخطيرة لمواصلة العمليات العسكرية على حياة المدنيين، فضلاً عن امتداد تداعياتها الأمنية والسياسية إلى استقرار وأمن المنطقة برمتها، كما شدد السيد الرئيس على أن مصر مستمرة في مساعيها لتنسيق الجهود الإقليمية والدولية للدفع نحو تبني مسار التهدئة، وإيصال وتوفير المساعدات الإغاثية إلى قطاع غزة، وذلك لتجنيب الشعب الفلسطيني المزيد من المعاناة الإنسانية.
Today, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi met with the Prime Minister of Norway, Jonas Gahr Støre,on the sidelines of the 28th Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change in Dubai.
The spokesman for the presidency said the meeting discussed ways to advance relations between the two countries in areas of common interest, especially trade and tourism, as well as benefiting from Norwegian expertise in projects related to the fields of clean energy, in light of the previous successful cooperation between the Egyptian government and SCATEC, in addition to discussing ways to enhance tripartite cooperation between Egypt and Norway in Africa.
The latest regional developments were also discussed, especially in the Gaza Strip, following the regional momentum resulting from holding both the Cairo Peace Summit and the extraordinary Arab Islamic Summit. The two sides stressed that the only way out of the current crisis is to find a just and comprehensive settlement of the Palestinian issue on the basis of the two-state solution, and the importance of pressing towards reaching a ceasefire in light of the serious humanitarian consequences of continuing military operations on the lives of civilians. This is in addition to the extension of its security and political repercussions to the stability and security of the entire region. The President also stressed that Egypt continues its efforts to coordinate regional and international efforts to push towards adopting the path of truce, and delivering and providing relief aid to the Gaza Strip, in order to avert the Palestinian people further suffering.
